FRIB recognized as deal of the year

Business Review’s third annual Deals of the Year gala drew more than 200 business leaders, community leaders and other supporters to the JW Marriott in Grand Rapids Oct. 23 to recognize the region’s 27 finalists in eight categories. In the Education category, Michigan State University won for securing a U.S. Department of Energy’s $550 million nuclear research facility. The Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) will be built over the next decade.
