Representative Bishop tours FRIB site

U.S. Representative Mike Bishop toured the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams today during a visit to Lansing.

FRIB Conventional Facilities and Infrastructure Deputy Director Chris Thronson hosted Bishop during his visit, along with MSU Vice President of Governmental Affairs Mark Burnham. Thronson led a tour of the facility under construction and updated the congressman on the project’s progress along the way.

The FRIB Project is currently 10 weeks ahead of schedule on civil construction.
