The Environmental, Safety and Health Management System (ESHMS) audit, which includes the Environmental Management System (ISO14001) and the Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS18001), was completed 8 June. 

FRIB’s certification body, National Sanitation Foundation-International Strategic Registrations (NSF-ISR), had no audit findings, and recommended continued registration for the Laboratory ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems. 

This successful audit demonstrates the laboratory’s commitment to ensuring that a safe and healthy workplace is provided for all personnel, while also protecting our environment.
