Postdoctoral research opportunities
FRIB offers opportunities to postdoctoral research associates in experimental and theoretical nuclear physics, nuclear astrophysics, and accelerator science and engineering.
In addition to the excellent research environment, FRIB provides comprehensive mentoring for postdoctoral researchers to support and advance their careers. This postdoctoral mentoring program is overseen by the Associate Director for Education and provides postdoctoral researchers with the tools, resources, and feedback they need to be successful now and in the future.
Postdoctoral researchers play key roles at the laboratory, from serving on committees to leading research. They help supervise students and, for those interested, there are opportunities to engage with teaching.
At present, the following opportunities for postdoctoral research are available:
- Experimental research associate: Pool posting 935807
- Line managers: Aldric Revel, Brad Sherrill, Paul Gueye, Sean Liddick
