About FRIB

Consistent with MSU’s long history of external scientific collaboration, the FRIB Laboratory is advised by external advisory committees. Their members are experts in areas important to the success of FRIB.

The FRIB Laboratory has access to additional subject matter experts with extensive U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science (DOE-SC) experience for operational advice.

Charged by the FRIB Laboratory Director and provides external advice to the High Rigidity Spectrometer (HRS) Project team on technical matters.

A group of international experts who review proposals for non-proprietary beam time requests submitted to FRIB.

Charged by the FRIB Laboratory Director and advises the FRIB Experimental Systems Division (ESD) and the ESD Stopped and Reaccelerated Beam team

Provides external advice on technical matters related to the high-power targetry systems

Charged by the FRIB Laboratory Director and provides external advice on technical matters related to accelerator systems and experimental systems to the FRIB Laboratory management team.
