FRIB provides several resources for teachers, including lesson plans, activities for in the classroom and for students to do at home, hands-on demonstrations, and more.
PAN-CAKE
Physics of Atomic Nuclei Classroom Activities and Knowledge for Educators (PAN-CAKE) provides teachers with the experience, techniques, and confidence they need to incorporate nuclear science into their classrooms. Teachers who enroll in the program have the opportunity to meet nuclear scientists, collect tools and demonstrations for their classroom curriculum, and take a virtual tour of FRIB.
These free workshops can be requested by schools or districts with at least six interested teachers.

FRIB scientists are eager to share the excitement of their work with children of all ages. Request an FRIB scientist to speak with your classroom. Spanish speakers can also be requested.
