Lia Naviliat-Cuncic (soprano)

Lia Naviliat-Cuncic started vocal studies at the Regional Conservatory in Caen (Normandy, France) at age 16 with Professor Martine Postel. She simultaneously made her first steps on stages in several productions with the Orchestral Ensemble Basse-Normandie, at Théâtre de Caen and at La Renaissance in Mondeville. In 2009, she joined the chamber choir Mikrokosmos, directed by Loïc Pierre. While performing several choir concerts and competitions in Europe, she continued her vocal studies with Mrs Myriam d'Aranjo. Lia received a fellowship to join the Notre-Dame professional training choir school in Paris, directed by Lionel Sow. She specialized in Opera, Lied, Melodie, and Early Music, and participated in master classes with Alain Buet, Howard Crook, Margreet Hönig, and Anne Le Bozec. She earned with honors the Diploma of Musical Studies in lyric singing at the Regional Conservatory in Paris, in the class of Professor Fusako Kondo. Lia further pursued her vocal training with Professor Regina Dietrich Werner from the Hochschule fuer Musik in Leipzig and was then admitted at Master level in the Hochschule fuer Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, in the class of Professor Christine Shäfer, and the class of Lied of Professor Wolfram Rieger. She was awarded the Best Young Female Talent prize at the ninth International Operatic Singing Competition in Canari, France. After being awarded in the 2016 Talente Campus competition in Berlin, she was invited to perform twice as soloist with the Philarmonisher Choir and the Batzdorfer Hofkapelle at the Berliner Philarmonie, under the direction of Jörg-Peter Weigler. Lia earned her master's degree in Opera in Berlin.

Manuel Vieillard (piano)

Manuel Vieillard joined the Regional Conservatory of Paris at age 16. He studied piano seven years in the class of Mrs. Judy Chin and worked also with prominent musicians like Jean-François Heisser, Valentin Erben, Emmanuel Strosser, and François-Joël Thiollier. He performed in public at the Paris Philharmonie and at the Regional Conservatory of Paris. He later performed in Poulenc’s two pianos concerto with David Salmon and with the orchestra of the Regional Conservatory of Paris. In 2015, he was awarded the first prize at the Cognac international piano competition, and soon thereafter he was admitted at Master level in the Hochschule fuer Musik Hanns Eisler, Berlin, in the class of Professor Stefan Arnold. Manuel has performed in a number of music events in France, such as the Chopin festival, the Nancyphonies with the Maitrise de Paris, the Jeunes Talents festival with soprano Julie Prola, and the Carré d'as Jeunes Talents festival with soprano Lia Naviliat-Cuncic. In 2017, he was awarded the public prize at the international piano competition of Lagny-sur-Marne and the first prize at the Mayenne’s international piano competition. He was then invited to perform with the instrumental ensemble of Mayenne, conducted by director Mélanie Lévy-Thiébault. Manuel earned his master's degree in piano in Berlin and is currently studying the four hands and two pianos repertoire.
