FRIB offers postdoctoral scholars exceptional opportunities in experimental and theoretical nuclear physics, astrophysics, and accelerator science and engineering.

FRIB provides comprehensive mentoring for postdoctoral scholars to support and advance their careers. This postdoctoral scholar mentoring program is overseen by the Associate Director for Education, Workforce, and Career Development and provides postdoctoral scholar with the tools, resources, and feedback they need to be successful now and in the future.

Postdoctoral scholars lead research and development projects, help supervise students and, for those interested, there are opportunities to engage with teaching. They also play impactful roles in a wide range of other activities in the laboratory and serve on various committees.
