The FRIB Quality Assurance (QA) group is performing training throughout the FRIB Project. Individuals from the project’s technical, procurement, and safety groups have been selected to participate in the training. The QA training class defines the project’s expectation for quality, identifies individual roles and responsibilities, provides the methodology for individuals to achieve their quality goals, and familiarizes participants with the project’s QA plan and related procedures. The FRIB Project benefits from the experiences and lessons learned of other successful DOE accelerator projects, and the FRIB QA training program incorporates these positive experiences as well.
